SUMMARY OF COMMENTS GIVEN IN FEEDBACK BY PARTICIPANTS

IAYM SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2009
SUMMARY OF COMMENTS GIVEN IN FEEDBACK BY PARTICIPANTS
FOR THE 2ND WEEK ENDING 14 JUNE, 2009

1. I really like the computer lab session, because we learn new & interesting things. This internship programme has really helped a lot in learning new and interesting things. It has helped us in remembering our basics. I would just like to have more time to work on our project rather than having just 2 hours at the end of the day.
2. The opportunity to interact with different students and working along with them is the most interesting part.
3. Lab session by Nitish Sir very interesting. The session with Sanjeev Sir on Saturday (group-wise discussion), which gave us a clear view of what exactly we have to do in our project, and proved very beneficial.
4. The lecture on probability was interesting, and in lectures by Dr Das, there was always something new to learn. We should have more lectures like the one Dr Jonaki Ghosh gave.
5. Lecture on functions was greatly appreciated, as concepts are never clear in that particular area. Queuing theory lecture was excellent. Lectures which include applications of theory we learn, would be appreciated.
6. The best part is that the teachers are very supporting & friendly and always trying to help us.
7. I am very happy & satisfied at IAYM. Good care is taken of students. Delicious food is provided, many new techniques are taught. The second week was quite informative and helpful regarding our Encryption project. Quite a lot of information was provided to us which really helped.
8. SELF-EVALUATION, getting exposed to facts & concepts I never bothered to ponder on.
