- Confirm that you are eligible for the programme. You should satisfy one of the following criteria:
- You are a school student of Class X-XII, i.e. you will have entered the Xth standard by Summer 2011. Those currently sitting for the Class XII board exams are also eligible.
- You are a college student enrolled in a stream of BSc/ BA/ BTech etc. which has papers of Mathematics/Statistics.
- If you are in doubt about your eligibility, the best idea is to apply anyway (it's free!) and let us resolve the matter.
- Fill in and submit the online application form by Midnight, April 30, 2011. (The online form will be available from April 14, 2011)
- Obtain sealed recommendation letters from two of your teachers (you can use the format given on the MSF website) and mail them to MSF at the following address: Mathematical Sciences Foundation

Alternately, your teachers can directly email the letters from their official or institutional email account to us at iaym@mathscifound.org.
The letters must reach us by May 3, 2011. Your application will not be processed until these letters are received.
IAYM is a summer internship programme designed to stimulate creativity through ‘hands on’ applications of mathematics with the help of computing techniques. The programme is open to high school and college level students, and features a stipend as well as travel and stay support.
