sir, would the result be out publicly?
ReplyDeleteand if so...by when?
At this point all the selected participants have been contacted by phone/email. As vacancies come up, we similarly contact the waitlisted candidates.
ReplyDeleteSir,on what basis have the students been selected?
ReplyDeleteSelection was on the basis of marks, teachers' recommendations, the short essay on why you wish to do the programme, any special achievements. Also, there was a set number of seats for outstation participants.
ReplyDeleteHave all the waitlisted candidates been notified of the final decision?
ReplyDeleteIf you have a query about your own application, email us at iaym2010@mathscifound.org with all your details...
ReplyDeleteWhy you changed the venue at last?
ReplyDeleteI THINK UR STRATEGY OF CHOOSING STUDENTS IS NOT RIGHT AS TALENT CAN'T BE JUDGE IN FEW WORDS.
ReplyDelete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK U !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely agree that we do not have a "right" strategy of choosing students. In fact MSF would be happiest if we did not reject anyone, whatever their earlier "performance", since anyone who desires to learn should not be judged or refused. But we have limited resources, and we are forced to choose. This is why we are apologetic - rather than proud - about rejecting students.
ReplyDeleteI'm a candidate in the waiting list..exactly when will I get to know about my status of finally being selected or not?
ReplyDeleteSome waitlisted people have been accepted. If any more students drop out you may still get a chance. But if you really want to know you have to give us your reference number...
ReplyDeleteI have sent two mails to the given e-mail id a week ago but have got no response...
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous, How am I supposed to help without knowing your identity?
